Amores Wines have just returned from a successful trip to China visiting their ever-expanding client base there.

During this trip, Amores Wines met one of their partners, Along Fine Wines, in their Beijing-based head office where a team of 30 staff manage the administration for Along’s growing network of +200 distribution outlets spread throughout China.

Amores Wines were delighted to visit their customer to discuss the next phases of their collaboration and look forward to returning in November to assist them with planned promotion of their “Vino de los Valles”, “Gran Meigallo” and quality DO wines that the company will continue to supply them.

The company also travelled to Xi’an, Xixiang and Shanghai in collaboration with their customer, Utrans, as part of their Summer Road Show. The Road Show, attended annually by Amores Wines, was designed to promote the company’s exquisite range of Sherries currently sold throughout the Utrans distribution network as well as two new brands of Spanish wines – “Magicales Trinus” and “Occulta Paradisus” – recently launched by the collaborators.

Another customer visited by the company was the internet-based wine importer, Hen 99, who have their head office in Shanghai. Greeted by executive director of the company, Maria Li Bao, Amores Wines were pleased to re-visit the customer and ratify a deal that awards the company exclusivity of the one of the company’s premium wines from Rioja, their Marques de Vargas range from DO Rioja.

As part of their move to open their own branch office and wine stocks in China, the company visited their temperature-controlled warehousing in Ningbo and their offices in Pudong, Shanghai, currently undergoing refurbishment in preparation for the move.

The company plan to have their stocks in place by October 2013 and look forward to widening their client portfolio in China to include distributors and retailers.
