Denomination of Origin: Brandies
Ageing: Made from selected holandas aged for more than 25 years using the traditional Jerez nursery system of Soleras and Criaderas in 500 and 600 litres American oak vats (botas) which were previously used to mature 10-year old Oloroso Sherry. The long oxidative ageing in these botas converts the holandas (distillate) into brandy conferring a mahogany colour, intense aromas and a long finish.
Tasting Notes: Mahogany in colour with intense nutty and sweet vanilla aromas derived from
the oak, well-integrated with the delicate fresh fruit aromas of grape and plum becoming dried
fruit on the palate, framed by a round and velvety mouthfeel and finishing with a long aftertaste.
