Denomination of Origin: Brandies
Ageing: Bandy aged for more than 15 years using the traditional Jerez nursery system of Soleras and Criaderas in 500 and 600 litres American oak vats (botas) which were previously used to mature 10-year old Oloroso Sherry. The long oxidative ageing in the botas converts the holandas (distillate) into brandy conferring a clear varnish brown colour and intense nutty and vanilla aromas.
Tasting Notes: Tawny brown in colour, with a characteristic nutty aroma and hints of vanilla from the oak. On the palate, flavours of dried fruits and nuts with mingle with sweet spice, toast and vanilla, all integrated with delicate fruit aromas of the grape. A perfectly structured brandy with a smooth and velvety mouthfeel and a lengthy aftertaste.
