Tasting Notes
Appearance: A deep ruby-red colour with mauve undertones.
Nose: On the nose this wine has some earthy and mineral notes intermingled with ripe red fruits (strawberry, plum, cherry). After some decanting, the wine exhibits powerful notes of wild fruits (raspberries, cassis) along with pleasant perfumes of vanilla and spicy notes of cayenne pepper, cinnamon and clove all beautifully merged.
Palate: A perfect balance between the concentration, alcohol and the acidity. Notes of wild, red fruits, the buttery hints of cocoa and vanilla and the spicy notes from the oak, blend harmoniously and lead into a lingering and perfumed aftertaste.

Awards: Viña Aljibes Red 2009, 90 Parker Points, The Wine Advocate 2011.
