Grape Varieties: 80% Monastrell, 20% Merlot
Tasting Notes: This wine is an excellent expression of the Monastrell variety indigenous to the DO Jumilla. On appearance, the wine is clear, dark red with ruby edges. Full bodied with aromas of ripe dark fruits and violet followed by plum, cherry and raspberry on the palate, underpinned by mineral, earthy notes typical of the Monastrell variety. Firm and ripe tannins, well balanced with a lingering finish.
Food Match: A perfectly suitable wine for drinking alone or with all types of grilled, stewed and assorted meats and cheeses.
